Runaway Scrape
April 14, 2012
Join us at the 1830s Jones Stock Farm for an exciting re-creation of the Runaway Scrape,
the fleeing of the Texians from Santa Anna's army marching east towards San Jacinto.
See the Texians in action as they battle for independence. Try your hand at muster and musket handling while running from cannon fire and advancing soldados.
Watch these historical events unfold leading up to the Battle of San Jacinto on the Texas Independence Trail.
Runaway Scrape Reenactments will be held at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The Saturday
Historic Meal will be held at the Stock Farm (1830's) at 12:30. Advance reservations
are recommended and can be made by calling (281) 343-0218. Cost for the meal
