“The George Ranch Historical Park has been proud to partner with WCA for the past 8 years to provide field trips for economically disadvantaged Title One schools. Through the annual generosity of WCA, thousands of children are able to enjoy an experience that would not otherwise be possible. Last year, 4,000 students from 16 different school districts learned about Texas history through immersive hands-on activities at the HistoricalPark. It’s truly heartwarming to see the joy and excitement in their faces, and we are deeply grateful to WCA for their support of this program,” said Candace Jones, Historical Park Director.
