The George Ranch Historical Park

More than 100 years of Texas History

Volunteer - Get Involved

Join us in preserving the past for future generations by becoming a volunteer. Current volunteer needs include working with school children in education programs, maintenance & restoration of historic houses, volunteer tour guides, greeters, costume sewing, gardening, landscaping and more!

Many opportunities are also available through the Fort Bend Archeological Society, the Fort Bend Museum Docents or the new DeWalt Heritage Center.

The George Ranch Historical Park, a living history partnership of the Fort Bend County Museum Association and The George Foundation, helps connect Texans and guests from other states and countries to the region's remarkable history through the stories of four generations who shaped what we now call the George Ranch.
