Guy Lodge Hall, Beasley Post Office and South Yard

For those desiring Texas flavor, the George Ranch Historical Park has three facility areas: the Guy Lodge Hall, the Beasley Post Office and the South Yard.

The Guy Lodge Hall area consists of the Guy Lodge Hall, Beasley Post Office and South Yard. The Guy Lodge Hall, a dance hall built in 1911, was moved to the George Ranch Historical Park in 1980 and restored to its original appearance. The building can seat up to 200 people and features wooden floors, stenciled walls, a punched tin ceiling, built-in stage, heating and air conditioning. The Beasley Post Office, built in 1900, can be used for catering or for additional seating up to 48 people and is temperature controlled. The South Yard can be used for event activities or for additional seating up to 1,000 people.

Rental pricing includes the following:

  • Rental of facilities for four (4) hours plus two (2) hours immediately prior to the event for decorations, catering set-up, etc.
  • All set-up and clean-up
  • Appropriate number of dining tables and chairs (8 chairs per dining table)
  • Checkered tablecloths and assorted centerpieces
  • Staff person throughout the event (including during set-up)
