Wedding Receptions & Rehearsal Dinners

On your wedding day, begin your life together wrapped in more than 180 years of Texas tradition at the George Ranch Historical Park. Established in 1824, the George Ranch invites you to make your own history at one of Texas's oldest ranches. The Park's charming amenities, from the Beasley Chapel, Post Office, Guy Lodge Hall to the South Yard, combine to create the perfect ambiance for beginning your life together. And it's all just 30 miles from downtown Houston.

For those desiring Texas flavor, a wedding reception or rehearsal dinner can be held in the Guy Lodge Hall area. The Guy Lodge Hall, a dance hall built in 1911, was moved to the George Ranch in 1980 and restored to its original appearance. The building features wooden floors, stenciled walls, punched tin ceiling, built-in stage, and heating and air conditioning. In addition to the Guy Lodge Hall, the Beasley Post Office can be used for catering, and the South Yard can be used for additional seating or activities.

Rental price includes the following:

Rental of the Guy Lodge Hall, Beasley Post Office, and South Yard for four (4) hours plus two-hours immediately prior to the event for decorations, catering, and set up.
All set up and clean up
Appropriate number of dining tables and chairs (8 chairs per dining table)
White linen tablecloths - other colors available on request
Glass hurricane lantern centerpieces
3 White linen skirted tables: cake table, gift table, and registration table
Staff person throughout the event (including during set up)

Please Note:

All wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners are assessed a non-refundable $1,000 reservation fee in addition to the $500.00 damage deposit. Both fees are due at the signing of the contract to secure the event. Final balance is due seven (7) business days prior to the event.
