Poultry Profile: Meet Chicken Nugget!
Poultry Profile: 1860s Ryon Prairie Home
Name: Chicken Nugget
Age: 5
Breed: Blue Andalusian
Eggs: Sometimes I work for my food and produce an average of 3 white eggs a week. But sometimes I am lazy and won’t lay anything.
Likes: I like to roam far and wide and I can fly really high (Bet you thought chickens can’t fly but my special breed can!)
Dislikes: Cuddles. If you have ever met my cousins down the road at the 1830s Jones Stock Farm, they like to get all sorts of attention. Not me! My breed is a very independent type and we don’t want to be messed with.
How I Got My Name: One day, Mrs. Polly Ryon found me frolicking around in the second-floor bedroom at the 1860s Ryon Prairie Home (picture evidence above). I’m told the next time I’m found in the house, I may become chicken nuggets…but everyone knows I’m way too cute for that! 🐔🐔🐔
