An American Tradition

Nothing says America and July 4th like games, speeches and food! Bring the whole family to enjoy this fun-filled day celebrating our country’s birthday with some old-fashioned game play.

Try your hand at a variety of historic games and take a scavenger hunt through time as you pick up clues across the Park to discover intriguing trivia about this American holiday. Enjoy a stirring reading of the Declaration of Independence underneath the shaded branches of the nearly 200-year-old oak tree at the 1930s George Ranch Home. Then, fill your stomach with an amazing July 4th feast — but don’t fill up too much since you won’t want to miss our 5th annual cobbler-eating contest!

Cost for the meal is $15 for adults ages 13 and older; $12 for children ages 5-12 and $4 for children 4 and under. Reservations are STRONGLY encouraged; make reservations by clicking here or by calling (281) 343-0218.
