NOTE: The Park is open to the general public; please follow the signs to the temporary Visitor Check-In location at the historic Post Office building. Cattle demonstrations take place at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. only, so come early!

Labor Day Backyard Barbecue

Celebrate Labor Day weekend with traditional games and an old-fashioned 1930s barbecue at the George Ranch House. Listen to period music on a vintage radio, play games from the past and help make ice cream the old-fashioned way from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.!

Barbecue Lunch – 12 p.m.

At 12 p.m., chow down on some hearty Texas grub in the yard of the 1930s George Ranch Home. Cost for the meal is $15 for adults ages 13 and older; $12 for children ages 5-12 and $4 for children 4 and under.

The menu includes beef brisket, venison, beef and pork sausage, mesquite con pollo, cowboy beans, potato salad, George Ranch BBQ sauces and an assortment of cobblers.
