Our visitor center flooded in May, so please follow the signs to the temporary visitor check-in location at the historic Post Office building. Cattle demonstrations take place at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. only, so come early!

Saturday Spotlight: Alice in Wonderland Tea Party

First published in 1865, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland quickly became an overnight success. Mrs. Polly Ryon invites you to her garden for some sweet treats and readings from this beloved novel.

  • Join the Mad Hatter Tea Party with some of your favorite Alice and Wonderland characters.
  • Listen to readings of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland at the Ryon Parlor.
  • Play a round of the newly-popular game of croquet or test your skills with hoops and sticks!
  • Explore the house for an Alice in Wonderland-themed scavenger hunt in the 1860s Ryon Prairie Home.
