Dirty 1930s Depression and Dust Bowl Home School Program

Travel in time to the 1930s to  learn about the impact of the Great Depression and Dust Bowl in the U.S.  Sandwiched between the two World Wars, this period is generally given less mention in history textbooks, yet it had a profound effect on generations that followed.  Homeschoolers will understand the impact of each of those major economic disasters and experience what daily life was like through several hands-on activities.

Limited enrollment per session.

Tickets are non-refundable. Parent / chaperone must accompany student throughout the entire program. All tickets include admission to the Park allowing program participants to visit other areas of the Park before or after their program. The Park will be open 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. ADVANCE PURCHASE IS REQUIRED. Registration is limited and closes the Tuesday prior to the event.  If you have trouble booking please call (281) 343-0218 x220 to check availability.
