Historic Games and Self-Paced Exploration

Students of all ages will take part in historic games during our self-paced tour day, reserved for homeschoolers only.  Learn teamwork during Crossing the River at the dogtrot cabin, pretend to be a Pony Express rider at the Old Prairie Home, try your hand at forging with clay at the Blacksmith Shop, master the Victorian age game called “Graces”, and see how well you do at jacks at the 1930’s Ranch House.  Cowboy Shows and home tours will round out this fun educational day.

Tickets are non-refundable. Parent / chaperone must accompany student throughout the entire program. The Park will be open from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. and we recommend arriving early in the day.  ADVANCE PURCHASE IS REQUIRED and attendance will be limited. Registration closes the Tuesday prior to the event. If you have trouble booking online please call (281) 343-0218 x220 to check availability or email education@georgeranch.org.
