Thriving in Texas

Step back in in time and discover what life was like for the settlers who thrived in Stephen F. Austin’s Texas colony. Students will survey their homestead site using a compass and basic math, build a ferry crossing like Henry Jones to supplement their farming income and learn about recycling clothing pioneer style!

 

Tickets are non-refundable. Parent / chaperone must accompany student throughout the entire program. All tickets include admission to the Park allowing program participants to visit other areas of the Park before or after their program. The Park will be open 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

On the day of your visit please check-in at the Visitor Center when you arrive. Masks are encouraged for all guests entering buildings to protect staff and other visitors.
