Halloween Events at the George Ranch Historical Park

ALL HALLOW’S DAY (Saturday, October 28, 2017 | Family-friendly)

Have you ever wondered what Halloween parties used to look like? You’re invited to attend a Victorian Halloween Party at the 1860s Ryon Prairie Home and experience the fun firsthand. Try your hand at historic Halloween games and try to solve riddles and other tricks aimed to “reveal” hints of your future.

At the 1890s Davis Victorian Mansion, stop by the cemetery to make a gravestone rubbing and learn about the elaborate traditions of Victorian-era funerals. Explore the somber and slightly spooky decorations in the Davis Mansion itself as the house is put in mourning. Last, but not least, don’t just visit the Victorian homes — be sure to visit every site to trick-or-treat across the Park!

GHOSTS & GRUB (Tuesday, October 31, 2017 | 6:30-10 p.m. | Ages 12+)

Guests are encouraged to bring flashlights and good walking shoes.
