Texian Market Days Festival

This family-friendly, living history event features hands-on activities, battle re-enactments, live entertainment, food, craft vendors and more! It’s exciting, dramatic, educational and entertaining. The smoke swirls from fires, dulcimer and fiddle music fills the air. Wide-eyed children watch in wonder as men in buckskins argue “Texian politics” on the steps of the 1830s cabin. A day at Texian Market Days fills the senses with sounds, scents, and sensations from long ago!

Bring the whole family to discover more than 150 years of Texas history at Texian Market Days festival Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015. Texian Market Days offers families an affordable and educational weekend immersed in Texas history. The festival is a community event put on by the Fort Bend County Museum Association and held on the grounds of the 480-acre George Ranch Historical Park.
