B1 Horsemanship Clinic with Richard Boatwright

The George Ranch welcomes Richard Boatwright of B1 Horsemanship to our spring clinic series! With over 30 years of experience, Richard considers himself a true student of the horse. As the head trainer for 2 AQHA Remuda Award winning ranches, the finalist in multiple El Guapo ropings, and nationwide renown as an instructor through his online platform, Richard will be bringing smart training, clear education and 1:1 support to the riders of the greater Houston area.

Space is limited to provide personal coaching with each student, so secure your spot now!

• • Price is $200 per class that includes facilities day use fee.
  • Payment is non-refundable.
  • Classes offered Saturday and Sunday
    • Basic Horsemanship- Groundwork only-9am-12pm:

      This class will focus on basic horsemanship from the ground with an emphasis on safety. Riders should bring their own halters and lead ropes. Saddles optional.

    • Intermediate Horsemanship-Riding 12:30pm-3:30pm:

      This class will focus on the riders connection to their horse in the saddle, with emphasis on proper rein management and pressure release.

    • Trail class- Riding – 4:00pm-7:00pm:  This class will work on ranch type obstacles like opening gates, going over logs, backing through L’s…etc

• • • Auditors welcome at $35 per person per day. Listen and take notes from the sideline during Mr. Boatwright’s clinic. Stadium seating available.

• • Current Coggins and signed waiver required to participate.
  • Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
