The Ranch is open to the general public on Saturdays year-round from 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. and during school holidays.
Summer hours during June and July are Tuesday through Friday 9:00am to 2:00pm, and Saturdays from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The Ranch is closed four weeks in August.
July 4th Celebrations
Join us this July 4th as we celebrate 250 years of American history! Explore the Coastal Cowboys exhibit, visit with The George Ranch cowboys and tour the historic homes for a Declaration of Independence scavenger hunt! To join the hunt, just search each home for a copy of a line from the Declaration of Independence and receive a free piece of rock candy at our gift shop. General Admission is required for entry on July 4th.

The Ranch is closed New Years Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

General admission does not include special events, to include Frontier Days, Mother’s Day Tea, S’mores with Santa or other specialty tours.
The George Ranch is located just 30 miles southwest of downtown Houston and five miles off US 59. Take US 59 South; exit Grand Parkway/ Hwy 99. Turn left (south) at the traffic light on Crabb River Road (FM 2759). The Ranch’s main entrance is located 5 miles down the road on the right.
