Historic Lunch — Memorial Day Remembrance

Lunch is served at 12:00 with historic introduction beginning at 11:45. The cost of the meal is in addition to admission to the Park. Historic Lunches are only open to Park Guests who have paid admission and Members. Please pick up wrist bands at Visitors Center beginning at 9 a.m. when purchasing admission. Lunch tickets are non-refundable.

Smithers Lake Stew (crawfish and catfish gumbo)
Pork and Venison Meatloaf
Woolton Pie (assorted vegetables with a potato crust)
Savory Gravy Corn Casserole with Multi-Color Bell Peppers
Cucumber, Tomato, and Onion salad
White and Wheat Bread w/Ration Size Butter Portions
Summer Bread Pudding (a way of using up old bread and biscuits from the kitchen) but made with no eggs or sugar, a little molasses and some currants or raisins.
Vanilla lemon sauce, (made with evaporated milk)
